Spy pictures have become very common. They keep getting released all the time. Now it can be seen that this trick has its positives as well as negatives. The positives are that people are able to see and judge the performance of a vehicle and decide whether it is worth a purchase through car credit, car finance and car loans. The negatives are that the surprise element is there no more and those who are very skeptical often discard a car and decide not to buy it through a car loan which is a big spoiler in increasing the sales of the carmaker. But whether it is good or not, spy photos keep circulating all the time.

The latest on the block is that of the Saab 9-5 prototype that is all over the place. The first public appearance of the vehicle is touted to happen later in the year and its release date has not been finalized. The prototype was spotted during Nurburgring and had a lot of camouflage attached to it while the production version is expected to be on the same plane as that of the Saab styling. The roofline of the vehicle is being said to be a little shallower which makes the vehicle look like a coupe. It is also said that a lot of cues have been taken from the 9-4X BioPower. The car is expected to be a little heavy and also with an augmented length and height. The wheel base will also be large. The carmakers fear that people should not reject the vehicle after taking a good look at the configuration and might stop booking car credit, car loans and car finance. The car loan is expected to be the trump card behind selling the Saab 9-5.

The car is said to resemble the likes of the Mercedes Benz E Class and the Volvo S80. But these claims have been dismissed by the carmakers as thy say that people are intelligent enough to identify the right thing and they will indeed spot the individuality that has gone into the making of the Saab 9-5. Well, if this is the case then there should be no problem in the car selling like hot cakes through car credit, car finance and car loans. The vehicle has been pictured sporting a 2.0 liter petrol engine that is producing around 160kW. The diesel model of the vehicle will be coming with a hybrid model and the unveiling will take lace at the Frankfurt motor Show.

Be ready with the car loan, it might happen anytime soon.

If you remember, a couple of days ago, I wrote a post discussing the recent surge in US financial markets following the London Summit of the G20. I had written that this might ne a sign of things to come, that we were finally beginning to see some improvement in the state of the markets worldwide and this upward trend would reflect somewhere in the auto industry as well. Well, I don’t want to brag but a bit of what i had said has come true, albeit in a small way.

According a news story reported by The Daily Telegraph, mazda which is one of the leading australian car companies has claimed that it sees a return to the one million new car sales mark by the end of this year. The confidence shown by the top bosses at Mazda will be I hope like a shot in the arm for an ailing auto industry across the globe. Mazda launched their latest version of australia’s most popular small car – the Mazda 3.

unlike other companies Mazda is taking the bull by the horns. Accoprding to Doug Dickson who is the head at Mazda Australia, the situation might be grim but its not yet time to pack up and leave. That’s the kind of stuff we want to hear!

The Mazda 3 was launched this week and it is a fine car. Launched first in 2004, the Mazda 3 has sold more than 2,000,000 cars worldwide, and of those 164, 000 can be accounted for in Australia alone which is the reason that the company has enjoyed such solid popularity in Australia. The new mazda is a little larger and more fuel efficient than the previous versions, it boasts of a fuel efficiency of 7.9L/100 km to 8.6L/100 km across the range, along with a minor change to the front grille to accomodate better air flow and somple design changes have been incorporated but nothing that obstructs the original design of the car and its profile.

Forward Ho! Mazda.

Ever had a skid when driving on a wet road? Its the worst possible feeling as you feel the typres of the car slip on the asphalt and lose their grip. There’s nothing that can prepare you for the feeling of losing control of your car on a wet road; for one thing, you don’t know how long the slipping and skidding will last and second, the curb looks like its way too close for comfort and you’re still nowhere near to paying off your car loan. Not a pretty situation to be in.

The best thing to do at a time like that is to try and calm down first. It is not a very smart thing to be driving fast on wet roads anyway, unless you’re a F1 driver, in which case you have a regulated track and an entire team of people telling you to slow down if your tires can’t grip the road anymore. Although I know there are many technological advances being made and wonderful things being done to infrastructure systems in australia and all over the world, I don’t think there’s any likelihood of something similar being chalked up for regular drivers. But if they manage to develop a simple and easily manageable tool that reads your tire conditions and alerts you to it, then I think we might have that covered.

But for now, you should try and stick to the basics.

Keep your speed down. Drive slowly and carefully to prevent skids.

When you want to brake, do it with a gentle touch on curves.

Don’t slam the brakes like its motion picture driving school. Just do it gently so that you don’t lock up the wheels because you might end up skidding still.

And if you do skid, don’t panic because it will just make the situation worse. Stay calm, ease your foot off the accelerator pedal and steer the car carefully in the direction you want the front of the car to go.

keeping your tires properly inflated and well balanced is also very important since this prevents aquaplaning.

having your car skid on a thin film of water between tire and road is the worst since you cannot control the movement of the car and you might end up floating off the road altogether.

Slow down when on wet roads, and as tempting as it is, stay away from puddles.

Try to drive in the tire tracks left by the cars in front of you.

Don’t stomp on the brakes or turnsuddenly. Ease off the gas pedal until the car slows down and you can feel the road again. If you need to brake, do it gently with light pumping actions.

It’s that time of the year again when the Australian Outback will once again become the scene for the World Solar challenge – a car racing competition where 40 teams from around the world will compete against each other to showcase the most efficient and sustainable solar car prototype. The World Solar Challenge is focussed upon supporting research and designs for automobiles that make use of solar energy to travel.

Solar Car by Honda

Automakers around the world tune in to the World Solar Challenge since this competition often brings to the fore, car designs and studies that will ultimately help in bringing better and more fuel efficient, energy efficient cars into the car market. I know that there are a lot of people who bank upon research of this sort. Some of us are indeed very conscientious about the carbon footprint they leave behind. This is reason why they never even apply for car loans, or discuss car credit with any car finance company.

Their idea is that more cars on the road means a bigger carbon footprint, however we shouldn’t forget that a majority of our urban population prefers to use public transport. And until we find a prototype that will indeed answer to the growing calls for energy efficient and fuel intake reduction, it stands to reason to buy an automobile that at least support clean technology and causes as little pollution as possible.

The 2009 World Solar Challenge will be fought out on the Stewart Highway, chosen because it is a highway that continues in one direction only for a gruelling 1,689 miles with blinding sunlight, blistering heat, sand storms, and bush fired regularly putting in an appearance.

And if you think that the solar powered cars appearing for the Challenge are going to be slow-moving box types then think again. When these smart cars descended on the road for the Challenge in 2007, the challenge was to remain below the allowed speed limit on Australian roads.

This time around, the organisers have made a few more rules such as – the total available area for solar panels cannot exceed 6m2, the driver should remain in an upright position throughout the drive and there should be a steering wheel. (Considering there’s just one turn in the whole road, I wonder how the poor fellows driving these cars are going to fare in the heat.)

Among the many teams entering the challenge, the teams to watch out for include the Delft Univ team from the Netherlands whose car Nuna5 is an enhanced version of the Nuna4 which completed the race in 33 hours in 2007. The Nuna5 uses superior gallium arsenide cells which convert 26 percent of the solar energy hitting the panels into electricity that powers the car. This is a 6 per cent increase from the figures of other teams.

Amongst the other teams, there is Eleanor from MIT, Michigan and Bethany from Cambridge in the UK. All the teams are raring to go and very excited about the prospects of solar energy being harnessed to provide clean energy forms.

Don’t blame me for what I’m about to put you through but writing about the Electric Mitsu put in the mind to look up some other electric cars that have been unveiled in the past and might be out of the roads later this year if they are not out already. Check these out!

Ok I know that many of these may look like mutant cars, like somebody had a bad day on the drawing board but the point behind each of these cars is that they cut fuel consumption, cut the noise, and will, in the future be responsible for cutting the barage of attacks that gets sent to the ozone on a daily basis. we all do what little can for the environment and what these cars are doing by virtue of being electric cannot be fathomed.

So chin up and let’s see what the brains in AutoLand are thinking up for us.

Electric Mitsu

Alright, first up we have the Electric Mitsu, that I waxed eloquent about in the last post so we will decline to give it more than an honourable mention here.

It looks a little scifi-ish but that shouldn’t be a turnoff. Remember the flat cars in Minority Report? Well this is like a ancestor, like a Neanderthal man to Homo Sapien. Yeah?

Next, we have the Aptera

Dragonfly

Errr….yeah. Remember its great for the environment, even if it does look slightly insane. Apart from the fact that it is teetering upon two wheels suspended from the bottom like a tricycle, it is still a car and it must be honoured as such.

Another electric car, named electrica…..how very creative.

Insect

It looks more like a roach than anything else. I cannot imagine waiting for a car loan for this car. But, of course, you would be more likely to get a car loan on a car that emits no emissions or at least produces decreased emissions than something that is very pollutant.

Many vehicle finance agencies and car finance companies have offers and schemes on the ready for people who prefer to buy electric cars. But the thing to be kept in mind is that before the electric car becomes a reality on our roads we must also balance our lifestyle in a way that it can be profitable and useful for us to use electric cars.

Greenpeace supporters rejoice! Actually this should include all of the people who complain about the “noxious fumes” and superimposed “pollutants” wandering about in the air. According to news reports, it has been confirmed that an electric car developed by Mitsubishi Motors has been cleared to appear on australian roads. The car has passed a series of safety and emission tests that totalled to a cool 83. And the federal government has decided that its safe for this car to run on Australian roads.

Although the car has not been officially named, let’s called it the Electric Mitsu for now. Anyway, so the possible appearance of the Electric Mitsu in Australia has given some people a great cause for being happy and generally pleased with the world. Why? Well this is the first completely electric car developed, and it has the potential of zero- emissions which is a great thing for all of us. As it stands, Australian urban centres are the hubs that house most of our population. With the advent of cars such as the Electric Mitsu, it can significantly decrease the carbon footprint we are responsible for.

The Electric Mitsu can be charged completely by a household electric charge. It can go a maximum distance of 160 km, and at full charge the little car runs at a maximum speed of 130 kmph. With these figures, the car seems ideal for cities where on the whole, most people drive less than 100 km a day. so each day, if you have charged the Electric Mitsu properly, you can drive around and not add to any sort of pollution since the engine is designed so as to emit the least bit of noise. The Electric Mitsu is taking no chances. The odds for the success of the car depend very strongly upon how environment friendly the car ultimate ends up being.

Cars such as this go a long way in pushing the way for a zero-emission Australian commuting system, although the mileage of the car does little for outback dwellers, it is a city car and as it will serve beautifully. I suppose car finance shall be easy to take on this one as it is pegged at $30,000. A bit steep yes, but considering it is a zero-emission car, it might just notch up points for you at the vehicle finance agency and speed your car loan application that much faster. wjat are waiting for then?

Start exploring your options for car loans, and if your car credit has been suffering of late, this is the perfect time to remedy it by floating a bad car credit loan or even asking your boss to help out by getting you a chattel mortgage plan. All up to you!

Just the other day I was accompanying a friend to check out some cars at the local dealership prior to submitting the final documentation for his car loan and we came across this gleaming white Jaguar XF. It was placed at centrestage and all the soft. glowy lights of the delaership were attentively trained on this beautiful beast, but the Jag realy did not need any of the frills. It’s such a fantastic car in itself that it does not require the usual car shilling to look good. Anyway, the Jag was not the reason my friend had come along to the dealership. It was a little steep and he had already made up his mind about a different car. another luxury sedan but not of the Jag’s class, however a fine car nonetheless.

had he come especially for the jaguar XF he would not have disappointed because everything about the Jaguar XF screams confidence – the confidence born out of the knowledge that this here is a fabulpous car that any one in the world would be proud to drive. The feeling was apparent at the Detroit Auto show as well, where the car was first unveiled for future consumers to see. despite the car credit crunch still lingering about, I could see various poeople salivating at the sight of it and I could see that it would be a small matter to convice the lot of them that they had better do some quick thinking to turn this car loan into a super auto loan that would bring their auto finance situation a bit more closer to attaining the spectacular Jaguar.

The car is nothing if not fast, in fact they annouced the test results of a new speed record test conducted with the Jaguar XF by Paul Gentilozzi’s Rocketsports Racing team. what was interesting was that the Jag ran with surprisingly minimalistic engine modification – this was interesting because the guys at Jag really want us to know that the car can carry phenomenal speeds and not collapse even with a minimally modified, factory sourced engine that is likely to be in he car that you buy or finance from the dealership. So its not as if you see the test of a limited edition super Jag instead of the Jag that is sitting pretty in the showroom across your office. The time speed achieved by the Jag was a whopping 362 kmph.

Jag’s new owners, the Tatas are happy that the sales figures of the Jag XF have kept to the top consistentlyand in another good signal, the car is also drawing lots of auto loan traffic. The guys at Jag are therefore hoping that everything proceeds according to plan and the car once puts Jag firmly amongst the top of the sales figure bar graph across many markets. But, whether the Jag manages to lossen the stranglehold of Toyota on the topspot despite its pricey speed machine remains to be seen.

Just a look see into a pack of super cars and their specs. Art for art’s sake and some seriously cool machinery. The only problem will be convincing your car finance guy for the humungous car loan you will be applying for once you lay your eyes on these cars! It’s a little north of what the vehicle finance company will usually approve of in a few days time. And if you’re one of the people who stop eating in order to save money and bulk up for your car loan application.

Galardo V10 vs. Audi R8

Audi has something very temnpting to offer while the recessionary zeal is touching the sky and becoming quite hot to handle. But, its as though the auto giant is copying the steps of another super car. Audi’s flagship R8 has just received a batch of 5.2 liters FSI V10s from Lamborghini. So far, the R8 and the Gallardo just went to the same design factory to get prettied up and now they’re visiting the same heart specialist as well. Don’t mistake this for a complain though. How dare we protest when the ladies end up looking and running as fast and furious as they do?

Maybach Zeppelin

Another car that is actually the stuff of legends and dreams (and way beyond my approved car oan budget) is the new maybach lzeppelin (no relation to the band Led Zeppelin except that this may well be a stairway to heaven). The great zepelon will now be unveiled in a special limited edition version that will be manufactured down at Daimler Chryler in a sweet limited number of 100, and considering the price they will finally put on these babies, it may well take them a 100 years to sell. daimlerChrysler has done its homework though and is planning to sell the Zeppelin limited edition in both maybach 57 and Maybach 62 variants. the cars will be decked out with special badges, 20-inch-dark chrome rims, dark red tail lights, vertical exhaust outlets, customised luxury leather upholstery, special leather stitching and a piano themed lacquered trim along with a set of champagne flutes and a perfume dispenser.

Pop out the bubbly.

Sometimes, a surprise a very good thing, especially if it comes in the form of a newscaster barely managing the contain his excitement over the fact that the US markets have begun walking the path to recovery which might end the uncertainty and the utter confusion that has held everyone back from spending money and investing. Although this situation is common to all, the auto industry has especially been hit badly with the three largest car manufacturing companies in the world almost on the verge of folding up the business and giving up. The domino effect of it all has of course, cascaded down to us mortals.

The availability of car loans, the acceptance of your auto loan application, the rate at which vehicle finance in being negotiated; these are just some of the factors that have combined together to make things slightly more miserable than they already are. Uncertain times such as we have seen in the recent past have put all car finance agencies and vehicle finance agents in a cautionary mood. People whose credit situation was more than comfortable and foolproof find themselves trapped in the uncertainties which would have been impossible in years past.

Even solid car credit positions have been viewed with much doubt and caution but the trend has slowly begun to change. Applying for a car loan or signing a chattel mortgage deal or hire purchase agreement with the consent of your employer is also slowing picking up confidence and car finance companies are once again turning out in full strength in order to approve auto loans and give favourable mentions for testimonials while signing hire purchase or chattel mortgage agreements. It is surely a sign of the good times to come. Another indication that we may well be back on track is the announcement of new cars and new lines of cars by almost every major auto btand in the world.

So, we will be seeing new versions of Porsche, Maserati, BMW, Jaguar, Toyotas, Hyundais and all the rest and we also have a possible history making and revolutionary product that has the right, and the charisma to provide millions of people around the world a safe, smart, and small option to zip arund town on. The Tata Nano is one such car. Finally completely after a spate of tussles and arguments with the state goivernment. the Tata has come into existence. Of course the car is not yet European standard ready but for all those people waiting to see the Tata Nano on the side may have to wait a while longer as Safety officer it is extremely who might it be and why isn’t he me?

Whether the events of this morning really sound the bell signaling us back to recovery still remains to be seen.

Fingers crossed.

It can be said without a debate that Jaguar is on a serious mission. Complacency is something that has been thrown out of the picture by the automaker. The Indian touch that has been visible in the brand ever since its takeover by the Tata’s of India has unveiled a couple of powerhouse roadsters that are touted to wreck havoc in the market once made ready for sale. This should be enough to spark a thought about a car loan in the minds of people so that they can star applying as car credit, car finance and car loans would be necessary to buy a unit from the giant auto creator. The celebrated XF sedan will be re-launched through the 2010 XF premium along with the XF-R, better known as XFR.

The XF is also expected to give competition to its own cousin, the more privileged XJ. Since the XJ has been out of production for quite some time now, Jaguar gets a chance to retool assembly plants through the inspiring XF. The vehicle is expected to be released in the summer and will be available with dealers by the fall of 2009. Now since months keep passing by quickly, one should make arrangements for a car loan as arranging for car credit, car finance and car loans would be a superhuman effort at the last moment. The concept 4.2 liter V8 engine has been annihilated out of contention as a pair of novel 5.0 liter V8 engines have been brought into the fray.

The XF premium is powered by the naturally aspirated version of the 5.0 liter V8 engine that produces 385 horsepower and 380 lb-ft. This reshuffling tends to make the brand look more competent. People will give a car loan a good thought while planning to buy the car. It is also touted to give its German and Japanese counterparts a good run for their money, with competing heavily with the BMW 5 series, the Mercedes E Class and the Audi A6. So, it will certainly not be a cakewalk for these cars to make an impact as people are expected heavily to invest in car credit, car finance and car loans to buy this car.

Go and get your car loan as these two units will be out by the end of the year, post which the sales will be very high. Get it now, as keeping things for the last moment might unsettle them.
